The Vietnam Studies Center at Fulbright University Vietnam will officially begin operations in April 2022 with the goal of preserving and promoting the valuable cultural heritage of Vietnam.
On April 7, Fulbright University Vietnam signed a partnership agreement with the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, officially establishing the Vietnam Studies Center at the university. The center will be managed and led by Dr. Nguyễn Nam, Director of the Center and faculty member of the Vietnam Studies Program.
The initial agreement will be in effect for five years. Fulbright University Vietnam and the State Records and Archives Department will collaborate to organize academic seminars, exhibitions, digitalization projects, and the publication of research papers. These activities aim to showcase and introduce Vietnam’s cultural heritage, world documentary heritage, and notable archival materials to both domestic and international audiences. Through these promotional efforts, the center will contribute to educating the younger generation, fostering national pride, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility in preserving and enhancing the value of Vietnam’s cultural and documentary heritage.
