
On the morning of October 28, Fulbright University Vietnam officially received the Construction Permit for Phase 1 at Saigon Hi-Tech Park. The permit ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Nghia Hiep, Acting Head of the Management Board of Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Dr. Scott Fritzen, President of Fulbright University Vietnam, and other representatives from both parties.
This marks a significant milestone in advancing Fulbright University Vietnam’s mission to become a world-class institution in Vietnam, supporting the growth of Ho Chi Minh City’s education and technology ecosystem.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Scott Fritzen, President of Fulbright University Vietnam, shared: “Receiving the Phase 1 construction permit is an incredibly meaningful milestone for Fulbright. We are committed to developing a world-class higher education institution, not only to meet Vietnam’s demand for high-quality human resources but also to contribute to a progressive, dynamic, and sustainable education system. We are deeply grateful for the support from the Hi-Tech Park Management Board, the leadership of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Government of Vietnam. We believe this project will enhance the educational and technological ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City.”

The issuance of the Phase 1 construction permit will enable Fulbright University Vietnam to begin the initial 13 facilities on a 15-hectare site, expected to be completed by Q4 2026. Fulbright University Vietnam envisions that its modern campus, designed to meet the highest standards of environmental protection and student-centered learning, will provide excellent facilities for study and research, contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce for Vietnam’s sustainable future.
