Office of the President
Welcome to Fulbright
Within our ever-evolving educational landscape, Fulbright University Vietnam stands as a testament to the enduring power of learning and innovation. As President of Vietnam’s first liberal arts and sciences university, one that emerged out of a period of visionary Vietnamese-American partnership, I am inspired by the transformative journey we are on.
Our mission at Fulbright University Vietnam is not just to educate but to inspire new generations of leaders and thinkers from diverse backgrounds. We are committed to serving Vietnamese society and contributing to a better world through our liberal arts arts and sciences approach. This approach is not just academic; it embodies our core values of being independent, adaptive, global, student-centered, inclusive, and future-focused. We believe in empowering our students with the ability to think critically, act ethically, and pursue bold, innovative solutions to local and global challenges.
Our commitment to a liberal arts and sciences education ensures a dynamic blend of scientific, social, and humanistic inquiry, preparing our students for a future that is rapidly changing and increasingly interconnected. At Fulbright University Vietnam, learning goes beyond the classroom – it is about fostering a community where diverse perspectives, cultures, and ideas converge to create a rich tapestry of experiences and insights, and about crossing boundaries to engage reflectively and responsibly with society and the world of practice.
I invite you to explore our university and discover the vibrant spirit of Fulbright University Vietnam. For those who have yet to visit our campus, I look forward to the day we can welcome you to experience first-hand the energy and innovation that define us. Together, we will continue to chart a course that is academically excellent, globally connected, locally rooted and responsive, and impactful in shaping our shared future.
