Bio: Linh Huynh develops computational methods to help biologists analyze their data. The final goal of these analyses is to understand the mechanism of complex diseases such as cancer or autism. Linh is also interested in synthetic biology where he develops computer aided design (CAD) tools for engineering living organisms for useful purposes. Linh obtained his B.E. in computer science and engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and his PhD in computer science at University of California at Davis. Before joining Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV), Linh was a postdoctoral fellow at UC Davis Genome Center and then Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (Toronto, Canada). Linh has received several awards for his academic work, including the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) Fellowship and the Princess Margaret Postdoctoral Fellowship.
