Tran Yen Vy
Senior Resident Advisor
Vy has joined Fulbright community since 2018 and works as a Residence Advisor. Beside supporting Student Life team with paperwork, she spends most of her working time assisting students even with their minor problems in the residence, sharing with them about life experiences and providing them useful information from school. As an Advisor, Vy acts as a point of contact for students and builds a strong connection between students and Student Life team. After getting familiar with the university, Vy decided to contribute more to the community by activating her associate position and working as an Assistant of Learning Support team, which is another great chance for her to gain an understanding of the academic side of students.
Vy graduated from HCMC University Social Sciences and Humanities with a BA in English Linguistics and Literature. During years working in different educational and exchange programs both as a facilitator and as a volunteer and now a member of Fulbright University Vietnam, Vy realizes that education is extremely important to ones’ life so she decides to pursue this major in her next educational path beside keeping developing her interest in language.
Vy always prepares a good handle on all aspects of her life. Craftings, baking, photography and all forms of art are in which she finds more peace and calmness.
