About the Speakers
Megan Aanstoos is a Senior Program Officer for VentureWell. In this role, she is responsible for supporting teams with federal funding who are participating in the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) programs. These programs provide tests that can help save lives – a wonderful intersection of science and social impact! Previously, Megan served as a Licensing Officer for Kentucky Commercialization Ventures and Ohio State University, educating, protecting, and commercializing technologies in the life science, engineering, and social impact spaces. She is a strong advocate for equity, accessibility, and bringing awareness of different needs to light so people can form closer, stronger connections and improve communication and social engagement. Megan served as the first Chair for AUTM’s EDI Committee, to help enhance EDI education within the technology transfer community. She currently serves as one of the six co-founders for GEDITT – an organization dedicated to Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Technology Transfer and on the AUTM Board of Directors.
