The Ministry of Foreign Affairs speaks out about the activities of Fulbright University Vietnam

On August 26, responding to a reporter’s question asking for comments on the activities of Fulbright University Vietnam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Thu Hang said:

“Fulbright University Vietnam is the result of educational cooperation between Vietnam and the US, especially in the field of high-quality human resource training.

Vietnam welcomes the activities of Fulbright University Vietnam as confirmed in the Joint Statement on upgrading Vietnam-US relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2023.

We hope and believe that the activities of Fulbright University Vietnam continue to contribute practically to the development of the increasingly growing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the US.”

Fulbright University Vietnam was established in 2016, with its headquarters being built in Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park. In 2017, the school was licensed for educational operations. In 2018, the school opened its first course and held a graduation ceremony for this class of students in June 6.
