Today, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính met with Mr. Thomas Vallely, former Director of the Vietnam Program at Harvard University (USA), who is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fulbright University along with experts from Fulbright University. During the discussion, the Prime Minister appreciated the contributions and requested Professor Thomas Vallely and the experts to continue supporting Vietnam in policy advising, technology transfer, human resource training, and sharing experiences in smart management; he instructed ministries, sectors, and Ho Chi Minh City to flexibly apply policies, facilitating conditions for partners and investors in general and Fulbright University Vietnam in particular to operate and develop in accordance with the law.
On behalf of Professor Thomas Vallely, he and the experts from Fulbright University appreciated the socio-economic development results of Vietnam and the decisive, flexible, and effective management of the Government and the Prime Minister in recent times, despite the major difficulties the world is facing.
Additionally, he expressed his impression of the development perspectives of Vietnam shared by the Prime Minister, valued the development potential of Vietnam, especially in digital infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and cloud computing, and affirmed that he will continue to support and cooperate closely for the sustainable development of Vietnam.
